Tom Quinn, a close observer of the royal couple, gave some insight to Mirror US. According to him, Meghan and Harry face a growing rift. He explained, “There is a growing gap between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s growing concern that her life is not taking the direction she had planned. She loves the media attention. And she hates the fact that polls suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.” It’s clear that Meghan’s expectations did not align with reality.

But what exactly pushed Meghan Markle to tears? Believe it or not, it was the backlash over her new line of jam. Meghan’s tears reportedly flowed when American Riviera Orchard’s jam faced brutal critiques for being overpriced and unimpressive. Social media users were unrelenting, mocking the product and questioning its value. “She’s gotten to the point where she thinks everything she does will be unfairly criticized,” Quinn added. “Like her husband, she feels that people are attacking her unfairly. She doesn’t understand why people don’t admire her work.”
