ALFIE SS25: A Parisian Take on Power Dressing

Somewhere between the sharp lines of a tailored suit and the delicate flow of a ruffled dress lies ALFIE’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Soft Rebellion.” True to its name, the collection challenges conventional femininity, offering a wardrobe that feels both commanding and effortlessly undone.

For Alice Fresnel, ALFIE’s founder and creative director, duality is at the heart of the brand. Since launching in 2020, she has refined a vision where masculine structure and soft draping don’t just coexist, they enhance each other. This season, she leans even further into that tension, working with crisp shirting fabrics, sculptural sleeves, and cinched waists to craft silhouettes that feel both grounded and ethereal.

Instead of defining strength in opposition to softness, ALFIE SS25 embraces both in equal measure. Menswear-inspired stripes are softened with airy poplin while suiting fabrics take on unexpected fluidity. A sense of quiet rebellion runs through the collection — these are not pieces meant to shout, but they command attention in their restraint.

While the collection stays true to ALFIE’s signature pared-back elegance, Fresnel’s approach this season feels even more intentional. It’s about rewriting the rules of power dressing, proving that femininity isn’t about fitting into a mold — it’s about creating space for contradiction.

As the industry shifts toward understated, long-lasting luxury, ALFIE is carving out its own space. With a refined aesthetic rooted in 90s minimalism and Parisian ease, the brand speaks to those who appreciate effortless sophistication with an edge.
