Blake Lively Flaunts Florals While Promoting ‘It Ends With Us’ in NYC
Blake Lively brightened up New York’s rainy skies on Saturday, wearing two bold floral looks while promoting her upcoming film, “It Ends With Us.”
The actress sported a strapless Oscar de la Renta minidress featuring multicolored embroidery. Lively accessorized with statement drop earrings and bedazzled Aquazzura sandals, tying her dirty blond tresses into a sleek ponytail.
Later in the day, while attending a Betty Blooms pop-up in Chelsea. The temporary floral boutique is named for Lively’s third daughter with husband Ryan Reynolds. It was hosted by the actress’ own Betty Buzz and Betty Booze beverage brands.
For the occasion, Lively selected an all-pink ensemble consisting of an embroidered Péro overcoat and a Dauphinette minidress, which she wore underneath a floral chainmail top by the New York-based indie label. The “Gossip Girl” star completed her second look with matching Malone Souliers pumps and a set of emerald jewelry including earrings, rings and a bracelet.
Hairdresser Jennifer Yepez styled Lively’s hair in a loose braid, which she decorated with yellow, pink and purple blossoms. Makeup artist Elaine Offers Woulard gave the actress rosy blush and a magenta lip.
Last week, Lively was spotted wearing two Dauphinette looks in New York while celebrating the launch of her new hair care line, Blake Brown. First, she stepped out in a high-neck midi dress featuring a skirt of layered pastel feathers. That evening, Lively changed into a beaded chinoiserie minidress, wearing it underneath a coat dotted with colorful sequins and rhinestones.
Founded by Olivia Cheng in 2018, Dauphinette melds fantasy with sustainable fashion. Her designs, predominantly made from recycled or vintage materials, have been worn by the likes of Julia Fox, Sydney Sweeney and musician-author Michelle Zauner.
Speaking to WWD on Tuesday, Lively discussed her decision to enter the beauty space.
“I’ve been developing [Blake Brown] for seven years now — with this and Betty Buzz, I wanted to be building and creating and working but not on a film set every day,” Lively said. “I took four years off of acting to focus on my passions outside of that, and with this company, we went through literally years trying the formulas.”
