Dior Males Unveils First Marketing campaign With BTS’ Jimin for Spring 2024 – WWD


BTS member and Dior international ambassador Jimin is the face of the spring 2024 Dior Males marketing campaign, slated to reduce Tuesday.

It’s the first for the South Korean singer, dancer and songwriter since he used to be obvious as international ambassador for the French luxurious area in January.

Within the spring 2024 pictures, shot by way of Alasdair McLellan, visible swing between evocative black-and-white photographs with Jimin in a streamlined swimsuit or a preppy sweater and zippered blouse and colour pictures eager in a grassy jungle knoll, the place he wears a bright blue curved turtleneck sweater with a backpack within the Diamond CD rhomboid motif, or a military swimsuit embellished with brooches evoking ceremonial insignia with Dior logos.

Kim Jones mentioned he used to be “lucky to meet Jimin many years ago” when he arrived as creative director of ready-to-wear and accent collections at Dior Males, recalling how they “always talked about clothing together.”

“I’ve seen the rise and rise of [Jimin]. He has an amazing style and character that’s why I wanted to have him for the campaign,” the fashion designer endured.

BTS’ courting with the French luxurious area dates again to 2019, when Jones designed level outfits for his or her “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” international excursion.

The Dior Males advert marketing campaign that includes Jimin is ready to fracture on Tuesday in print. It used to be artwork directed by way of Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and styled by way of Ellie Grace Cumming.
