Elsa Hosk Brings ‘Sensuality’ to Nana Jacqueline ‘Halo’ Collection
Elsa Hosk is the face of Nana Jacqueline’s resort 2024 collection for the fashion label’s first celebrity campaign. The new collection is available on Thursday on Nana Jacqueline’s official website.
The Los Angeles-based clothing brand collaborated with the supermodel on a series of campaign images captured by photographer Diego Vourakis, featuring Hosk modeling pieces from the resort 2024 collection against the mystical backdrop of rugged Joshua Tree in California.
The “Halo” collection features styles that merge confidence and sophistication with a sensual spin. Dresses with cutouts, swimwear for summer and ethereal styles with touches of romance and airiness are among the pieces.
For the resort 2024 collection, Nana Jacqueline gained inspiration from the simplicity of ’90s silhouettes. Each piece features its own unique spin on classic styles, with the addition of Nana Jacqueline’s statement gold rings included in the design of several pieces.
Simultaneously inspired by the symbolism of halos, the collection’s gold rings take on a fresh meaning, elevating simple pieces and sets with new energy.
Hosk has modeled for such fashion houses and brands as Dior, H&M and Lilly Pulitzer, among others. She also appeared in the Victoria’s Secret annual fashion show throughout the 2010s.
“We have admired Elsa Hosk since her days as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015. She has consistently been on the list of Nana Jacqueline’s dream girls,” Nana Jacqueline’s cofounders Jacqueline Zhang and Nana Li said via email.
“Elsa is this season’s muse because she embodies passion, mystery, fearlessness, excitement, modernity and sensuality. She perfectly aligns with our vision for the resort 2024 collection ‘Halo’ epitomizing the ‘extremely sexy’ female image we aim to portray in this campaign and collection.”
Prior to her campaign with Nana Jacqueline, Hosk collaborated with Heavy Manners on a vintage-inspired swimwear line and made a few red carpet appearances at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Nana Jacqueline was created by Zhang and Li in 2016. The fashion brand began as a loungewear line and has grown to dresses, swimwear and more over the course of the last eight years.
“I wanted to create a way to transform the free, romantic vibe from my soul and inspire all women to be free, love themselves and also fall in love with their femininity,” Zhang said in conversation with WWD in June 2022.
“Nana Jacqueline is also a certain style, which isn’t just limited to womenswear. As a younger brand, we’ve evolved from doing loungewear to womenswear in three years,” Zhang said. “We have strong potential, so we’re excited about this journey.”
