Forever 21 x Coca-Cola Collaborate on Retro-Inspired Collection
Forever 21 and Coca-Cola are teaming up for a limited-edition collection. The collaboration launches on Wednesday in select Forever 21 stores and online.
The new collaboration between the fashion retailer and the soft drink company features apparel and accessories inspired by the 1970s, harkening back to the iconic 1971 commercial featuring the tune “I’d Like to Buy the World a Coke.” The collection features trendy and timeless designs spanning a range of products.
Forever 21 x Coca-Cola features women’s, plus-size and men’s fashion, as well as swimwear, accessories, beauty products, jewelry, hair accessories and handbags designed with the iconic beverage in mind. Designs of the pieces in the collection highlight the classic Coca-Cola logo, featuring vintage art, prints and graphics that pay homage to flavors like Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Cherry Coke.
Products for women include satin jackets and P.E. shorts, denim pieces, jewelry and bags, like the travel tote pictured below. Sizes for women’s products range from XS to XL and 0x to 4x for plus-size. Men will find sporty pieces. Products gesture toward racing, baseball and soccer, with sizes available from small to XXL.
“There’s a cultural zeitgeist around food and beverage brands and Forever 21 has the unique ability to take beloved consumer products and bring them to market as a fashion icon,” Winnie Park, Forever 21’s chief executive officer said of the collection. “Our co-branded Coca-Cola collection is a celebration of retro Americana, featuring on-trend vintage inspired styles across both apparel and accessories at an incredible value.”
This new collaboration comes after Forever 21 launched their capsule collaboration with automobile manufacturer Ford on a retro-inspired collection last month, which featured products inspired by the automobile manufacturer’s cars. Past collaborations for the fashion retailer include a Hello Kitty and Friends holiday capsule collection, which launched in November 2023; a Barbie collection that launched in May 2022, and a collection with Pantone, which launched in October 2021.
