Hits and Misses: Magazine Covers of April 2024

Looking back at what our fave fashion glossies have bestowed upon us throughout the past month, it truly feels like every single magazine from across the globe has upped the ante (or thereabouts). Harper’s Bazaar Arabia won us over completely with Sara Sampaio serving us pure unapologetic glamour (and major mob-wife realness), Anok Yai as Vogue Japan’s cover girl ultimately proved to be everything a Vogue cover should be and did Gemma Ward‘s surprise appearance on Vogue Poland single-handedly save the whole month? On the opposite end of the scale, Vogue Italia’s April installment starring Bella Hadid felt like a total wasted opportunity and why did Harper’s Bazaar Australia/New Zealand insist on Elle Macpherson as cover star, to only go and make her so obscured and so unrecognizable?
