Katie Holmes Dazzles in Me+Em Cutout Maxidress
Katie Holmes stepped out in New York City on Tuesday in the ideal spring-to-summer transitional dress. The actress and producer recently attended a few events during the first few days of Tribeca Film Festival.
Holmes wore the Me+Em Cotton Bouclé Cut-Out Maxi Dress. The navy and cream casual frock is made from cotton bouclé and features a cutout detail at the back.
Holmes chose to coordinate the sleeveless dress with a pair of ballet flats featuring a buckle strap and cutout elements near the pointed toe of the shoe. As for the rest of Holmes’ casual look, she wore her brunette hair straight with a middle part and added a pop of color to her makeup with a red lip.
Prior to her outing on Tuesday, Holmes made a few appearances during Tribeca Film Festival’s events in collaboration with Chanel.
On Friday, Holmes attended Chanel’s annual Tribeca Film Festival luncheon. The “Dawson’s Creek” alum wore a graphic tank top and black wide-leg jeans by the French label, which featured floral embroidery. She accessorized with a gold belt, along with one of Chanel’s miniature quilted handbags.
She also attended Chanel’s annual artists dinner at the film festival on Monday, opting for a cropped beaded lace jacket featuring crystalized buttons, as well as a matching midi skirt, also by the French fashion label.
Apart from her recent high-profile appearances at the Tribeca Film Festival, Holmes celebrated her collaboration with French label A.P.C., which launched on Thursday. Holmes worked in partnership with Jean and Judith Touitou on the collection, choosing pieces that can be mixed and matched, merging French elegance with New York Style sensibility.
“I love vintage and truly enjoyed stepping into the memories of A.P.C. garments of the past,” Holmes said. “Bringing the inspiration from collections from the early 2000s and working to make them modern and relevant to the 2024 customer was such a joyful and satisfying experience.”
