Khloé Kardashian won’t hear a word about her dating style—especially how it pertains to her sex life. The Good American founder opened up to her co-stars and family members in a recent episode of The Kardashians, discussing her rationale for being voluntarily (and most importantly, happily!) celibate for over two years.

Kardashian has not been in a relationship for over two years after ending her on-again, off-again relationship with the father of her children, Tristan Thompson. For the uninitiated, it was revealed Thompson had cheated on the reality star by kissing the best friend of her younger sister Kylie Jenner, Jordyn Woods. (Thompson was also accused of adultery days before Kardashian welcomed her daughter, True).

The NBA player faced controversy again after fathering a child with another woman while Kardashian was attempting to conceive their second child via surrogacy. The paternity scandal definitely drew their romance to a close, with Kardashian revealing she hasn’t dipped back into the dating pool since.

When questioned by Scott Disick about her search for love, Kardashian confirmed that the “door is closed” not only when it comes to rekindling with Thompson, but for any other potential suitors. Disick also enquired further and asked if she had been on any dates recently, to which she claimed she was too busy to do.

“I have to be up at 4:30, so from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. is my time,” Kardashian said. “I’m not sharing it with a man. I’m not sharing my TV, I’m not sharing my bed.”

Kardashian’s comments have entered the canon of iconic women in popular culture who have previously expressed their dismay for dating. When it comes to your approach, are you team Linda Evangelista (“I don’t want to hear someone breathing”), Whoopi Goldberg (“I don’t somebody living in my house”) or team Kim Cattrall (“I don’t want to be in a situation for even an hour where I’m not enjoying myself”)?

She did leave audiences—and any interested parties watching—with a little bit of hope, confirming that she has no interest in remaining celibate forever. “You think I’m just gonna be celibate for the rest of my life?” Kardashian said before explaining, “I don’t want anyone stopping my routine. I’m comfortable in my rhythm.”

Though new studies have found Gen Z is having less sex than their parents’ generation, it’s apparent that Gen X is also redefining their relationships with intercourse, too. Just this week Julia Fox and Lenny Kravitz revealed they were both also celibate. Could chastity be the new foreplay? It’s unclear, but these celebrities are making a case for keeping things above the covers.
