The Street Style Trends To Know From Copenhagen Fashion Week
Copenhagen is a city so expansive in its sartorial prowess that no matter where you turn, you’re bound to run into someone with an enviable look. So you can bet that when you take all those fashionable figures and put them in one place, you’re bound to walk away with plenty of insight into what’s trending.
Though more modest in scope, Copenhagen Fashion Week has quickly become a fashion capital of haute proportions, no doubt thanks to its larger-than-life street style that garners international attention season after season—think volume and colour you could surely spot from Space.
As globally renowned designers like ROTATE, A. Roege Hove, REMAIN, and Baum Und Pferdgarten unveil their creative projections with incredible Spring/Summer 2025 collections, the Danish city has become a runway of its own. A spectacle of the capital’s distinctive style, unencumbered by convention, lining the cobblestone pathways and pastel-hued facades.
As GRAZIA reports from the ground of CPHFW, these are the major street style trends that we’re bringing back home with us.
All that shines
The gold jewellery reign may just be over if you ask the Scandinavian style set. At the Spring/Summer 2025 showings, statement silver earrings and cuffs were the trend du jour both on and off the runway.
As the birthplace of Pandora, the largest jewellery company in the world, it’s safe to say that the Danes in Copenhagen know what they’re talking about when it comes to accessories, so we’re all ears—quite literally when it comes to these pearl and silver drop earrings!
Borrowed from ‘Dad’
If the return of the Capri pant isn’t quite to your taste, then might we suggest something a little roomier? The oversized ‘Dad’ short is summer’s answer to the denim maxi skirt we were all winter long. Take note of the prolific street style we spied, and wear your baggy with delicate kitten heels for balance.
Hair, there and everywhere
The Danes truly leave no stone unturned when it comes to making a statement. Our latest fixation comes courtesy of the varied (and sizeable) hair accessories spotted everywhere at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Whether it was clips, pins, crochet berets or ginormous scrunchies, we’ll copying this look ASAP.
Marco Polo
90s athleisure has had a significant influence over trends in the last decade—no doubt thanks to Princess Diana and her off-duty style. But as forgotten aesthetics from the 2000s work their way back into the trend cycle, polo shirts have made an unexpected comeback.
